Akzo Nobel India Ltd's Board of Directors released the financial results for the quarter and nine months ended 31st December 2024. For Q3 FY25, the company reported a revenue from operations of Rs 1,050.5 Crore, reflecting a 2 per cent increase compared to Q3 FY24. However, operating EBIT decreased by 2 per cent, totalling Rs 143.5 Crore, while PAT saw a decline of 5 per cent, reaching Rs 108.6 Crore.
Looking at the first nine months of FY25, revenue from operations stood at Rs 3,069.1 Crore, up by 3 per cent compared to the same period in FY24. EBIT from operations grew by 1 per cent, amounting to Rs 414.8 Crore, while PAT also saw a modest 1 per cent increase, totalling Rs 321.1 Crores.
Akzo Nobel India Limited Chairman and Managing Director Rajiv Rajgopal said, "In Q3 FY25, we achieved both volume and value growth despite subdued market conditions. Favourable demand in infrastructure, power, mining, marine, and real estate sectors fueled sustained B2B momentum in paints and coatings. Prudent cost management protected profitability, effectively mitigating the impact of raw material inflation on margins. Overall, our performance in 9M FY25 reflects continued growth and strong double-digit profitability trajectory with market share gains."
