Altre Expands into Rs14,000 Cr Design & Build Market

Altre, India's first tech-enabled workspace consultancy, has announced its expansion into the Design & Build segment. Industry veteran Anurag Tyagi, MRICS, has joined the company as the Chief Executive Officer of Altre’s Design & Build Tech Platform. Anurag Tyagi is one of Asia’s foremost corporate real estate leaders, with over 24 years of transformative impact across global investment firms, high-growth ventures, and multinational enterprises like Morgan Stanley, IQVIA, Table Space, YES Bank, and ICICI Bank.

A results-driven strategist and execution powerhouse, Anurag has led real estate portfolios across India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and China, combining vision, precision, and operational excellence at scale. He has driven large-scale transformation across diverse real estate portfolios- crafting billion-dollar-plus strategies, delivering over 10 million sq. ft. of premium office fit-outs for global enterprises through standardised, tech-enabled execution, and managing over $100 million pan-Asia portfolios with a focus on workplace innovation and sustainability. With expertise across transaction advisory, asset management, and delivery on both the vendor and client side, he has successfully managed large-scale mandates for Fortune 500 occupiers, GCCs, and fast-scaling startups.

"Traditional Design & Build approaches often face challenges due to fragmented processes and limited visibility," said Anurag Tyagi, CEO of Altre Design & Build. "Altre's technology-enabled platform addresses these pain points systematically. By integrating the right technology suite, we aim to provide enhanced transparency, more predictable timelines, and improved accountability throughout the project lifecycle in the Altre Design and Build Tech Platform."

The launch represents a natural progression of Altre's strategy to become a comprehensive workplace partner, supporting clients from discovery and leasing through to final handover. Building on the validation Altre has received for its tech-enabled approach to simplifying office leasing, Altre Design & Build Tech Platform extends this methodology to project execution.

The Design & Build Tech Platform will offer an integrated, end-to-end solution powered by Altre's proprietary platform. From concept to completion, clients can monitor milestones, track vendors, oversee budgets, and manage project timelines within a unified digital interface.

"Expanding into Design & Build was a strategic next step for Altre, driven by our clients' need for more efficient and transparent execution processes," said Shweta Sawhney, Founder & CEO of Altre. "Over the past two years, we've seen strong validation of our efforts to leverage technology to make leasing more efficient and transparent. The continued evolution towards technology-enabled solutions in real estate presents significant opportunities, and we're well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to this transformation. With Anurag's extensive experience and our technology platform, we're focused on delivering improved transparency, reliability, and outcomes for how office spaces are developed in India."
