Boson Whitewater Installs Recycling Water System at IAPMO

Boson Whitewater, a water utility company transforming STP-treated water into high-quality potable water, has installed its advanced recycling water system at IAPMO (The International Association of Plumbing & Mechanical Officials) India’s facility in Electronic City, Bengaluru. The installation will recycle over 10,000 litres of water daily and 32 Lakh litres annually, helping IAPMO India become a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) premise.

The Boson Whitewater system, which uses a patented 11-step filtration process integrated with IoT for real-time monitoring and remote access, will treat and reuse wastewater generated within the IAPMO India premises. This move aligns with both organisations’ commitment to adopting and advocating sustainable, efficient water practices.

Earlier in March 2024, Boson Whitewater signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IAPMO India, a globally recognised authority on plumbing, mechanical, and water quality, to collaborate on the standardisation, validation, and safety of recycled water.

Dr K Chandrashekhar, Managing Director, IAPMO India Pvt Ltd., said, “Our collaboration with Boson Whitewater goes beyond technology; it's about setting a precedent for sustainable water use and resource recovery. By installing their system, we are not only reducing our own environmental footprint but also demonstrating the feasibility of achieving Zero Liquid Discharge using validated recycled water systems.”

Vikas Brahmavar, CEO and Co-Founder of Boson Whitewater added, “This installation is a landmark moment in our partnership with IAPMO India. It demonstrates the real-world impact of technology-driven water recycling. We are excited to see our solution making a tangible difference, turning wastewater into an asset and paving the way for scalable water circularity in India.”
