With this new development, CMC’s entire range of Marble, Quartz and Terrazzo products will benefit from continuous protection against bacterial growth, delivering added surface hygiene and cleanliness in between cleaning.
Marble, Quartz and Terrazzo products incorporated with Microban antimicrobial technology is recommended for installation in hygiene sensitive areas including hospitals, laboratories, clinics, kitchens and toilets. The additive helps prevent the growth of microbes that cause staining and odours.
CMC treated Marble, Quartz and Terrazzo slabs will have Microban antimicrobial technology built into them during the manufacturing process. This ensures that the products benefit from continuous antimicrobial protection for their lifetime. The technology remains active 24/7 and will not wash off, wear away or be negatively impacted by cleaning agents that may be used for regular maintenance.
