CS TECH Ai (Ceinsys Tech Ltd.) has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the Rs5.81 crore sewage infrastructure overhaul in Nashik, a strategic initiative by the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) aimed at revitalizing urban sanitation and the Godavari River ecosystem. The contract, awarded under the PPP-HAM model, entrusts CS TECH Ai with complete oversight—ranging from project planning and quality control to long-term monitoring and milestone verification.
Prashant Kamat, CEO of CS TECH Ai, highlighted the scale and ambition of the undertaking, noting that aligning data, timelines, and outcomes will be central to delivering results not just during execution, but across a 25-year operational span.
The revamp is part of NMC’s “One City One Operator” model and will consolidate operations across four key sewage treatment plants—Tapovan (180 MLD), Agartakli (97 + 70 MLD), Chehadi (64 MLD), and Panchak (75 MLD)—along with a decentralized Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) unit. The project also includes upgrades to 27 pumping stations and the laying of new rising mains and gravity sewers throughout Nashik.
A SCADA-based command center at NMC headquarters will enable real-time system monitoring and integrated management, supporting performance benchmarks set by the National Green Tribunal (NGT).
Over the next 25 years, CS TECH Ai will also supervise operations and maintenance, ensuring sustainability and responsiveness to future urban needs—including preparations for major events like the Kumbh Mela. The initiative reflects Nashik’s broader commitment to resilient urban infrastructure and long-term environmental stewardship.
