Flyhomes Introduces Employee Engagement Initiative Flyhomies Connect

Flyhomes, a real estate Brokerage, and Technology firm, has recently introduced a city-specific employee engagement initiative called 'Flyhomies Connect'.

This has been done by the firm to foster a cohesive culture for virtual teams to come together physically, and form lasting friendships.

As part of this quarterly initiative, employees from the same city across teams meet for an informal lunch or dinner. During this company-sponsored event, each team member is encouraged to interact with and get to know other flyhomies. The senior leadership of Flyhomes also takes part in this connect, and focuses on forming personal connections and offering mentorship.

Gaganpreet Luthra, Managing Director, Flyhomes India said, “As a remote-first organisation, we at Flyhomes recognise the significance of employee engagement on the overall culture, as well as micro and macro-level growth of the company and its people. The Flyhomies Connect has also been devised to instill a sense of camaraderie, contentment, and loyalty amongst our members. Research suggests that one of the risks of remote working is isolation, which can adversely impact an employee's mental health over time. This program will help in breaking silos."

After Bangalore, the company has lined-up four more such meets in the course of June across Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Haldwani (Uttarkhand). The company plans to conduct quarterly connects in all major cities where the company has a sizable workforce.
