Prayag Polymers, a bathware and sanitaryware manufacturer, launched a full range of PVC-O (Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride) pipes, designed for high-pressure water distribution, irrigation, and industrial applications.
These pipes are manufactured at Prayag’s ISO-certified facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Bringing in next-gen piping solutions that are efficient, durable, and environmentally responsible, Prayag’s PVC-O pipes are available in pressure ratings of PN12.5, PN16, PN20 and PN25 with diameters ranging from 90mm to 400mm. Offering up to 40% higher hydraulic capacity compared to conventional pipes, this new range supports faster installations due to socketed connections and allows flexible application without the need for additional fittings.
Nitin Aggarwal, Managing Director, Prayag Polymers, said, “Engineered for exceptional mechanical and hydraulic performance, Prayag PVC-O pipes offer higher impact resistance, enhanced ductility, superior hydrostatic strength and longer service life. At Prayag, innovation has always been at the heart of our operations, and with the introduction of PVC-O pipes, we have contributed our bit to addressing the country’s infrastructure demands.”
Prayag PVC-O pipes are a reliable choice for residential, commercial, and industrial water systems. The launch of these pipes also reflects Prayag’s ongoing commitment to innovation, infrastructure development, and sustainable growth. In addition to continuous upgrades to its production lines, the company has been scaling up its manufacturing capacity to meet rising product demand.
Backed by advanced molecular orientation technology, these pipes are made for a wide range of applications. Prayag PVC-O pipes are suitable for irrigation systems for agricultural lands, high-pressure water supply in residential and commercial buildings, fire hydrant networks and industrial usage, especially in food processing and pharmaceuticals.
Prayag's PVC-O pipes are manufactured using molecular orientation. This technology significantly enhances their mechanical strength and flexibility. It also ensures superior resistance to water hammer, biofilm formation, and crack propagation, even under extreme conditions.
Having a hydraulic capability of 15% to 40% greater than normal pipes, these pipes provide not only economical high-pressure water flow but also cost-effective installation by means of socketed connections. This also leads to fewer fittings and easier backfilling. Prayag PVC-O pipes are made to function even on difficult ground and in difficult weather. They provide unbeatable strength and a lifespan greater than 100 years.
