Schindler, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has announced the appointment ofe Nitin Chalk as the President & CEO for India and South Asia. He rejoins Schindler after over a decade at Eaton. Chalke has recently assumed his role and will be headquartered at the Schindler India head office in Mumbai.
Chalke's rich corporate journey demonstrates a senior leadership experience in diverse industries and different geographies. At Eaton, he assumed various leadership roles, such as Country manager-India, President Asia Pacific - Hydraulics and Vehicles Group, and as President-North America: Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions.
Prior to joining Eaton, Chalke spent a decade of his career with Schindler India, where he played various roles of increasing responsibility. His last role at Schindler was Director of Field Operations. He will now leverage his wealth of global experience to steer the company towards continued success. With a proven track record in implementing long-term growth strategies, business transformation, and effective team management, Chalke is poised to make substantial contributions to Schindler’s operational excellence and overall strategic vision.
