The 12,227 sq. ft. building combines business operations with client-facing utilities. It includes the corporate office, experience center with live product display, manufacturing and warehouse facilities. The centre serves both as a workplace as well as an interactive environment for architects, engineers, and plumbing professionals.
“The certification is a result of months of planning, detailed audits, and seamless collaboration across departments,” said Krishna C. Mukti, Vice President – International Business, Sloan. “From redesigning systems to simplifying usage, to creating environments that support well-being and productivity, every decision was made with intent. Instead of reacting to problems, we built processes that prevent inefficiencies from the start. This has allowed us to meet operational goals while improving comfort, safety, and long-term functionality.”
The facility performed exceedingly well across key evaluation areas. Transportation initiatives such as carpool coordination, enhanced pedestrian access, cyclist support, and proximity to public transit reduced reliance on private vehicles. Water efficiency was improved through the installation of low-flow urinals, sensor-activated taps, and optimised plumbing systems, all contributing to reduced usage without compromising performance. Energy performance was elevated by adopting LED lighting, upgrading HVAC equipment, and integrating automated systems that adjust energy use based on occupancy.
Indoor environmental quality was enhanced through consistent monitoring of carbon dioxide and chemical levels, supported by positive staff feedback on overall comfort. Effective waste management was achieved through targeted efforts like source reduction, composting, and structured recycling programs implemented across departments.
“Our approach was grounded in measurement and accountability,” added Yashwant Arya, Project Manager at Sloan India. “We reviewed system behavior over time, eliminated redundancies, and integrated tools that learn from real-time occupancy. Whether we were setting up energy controls or revising indoor parameters, the objective remained the same: optimise without overengineering. The certification validates an ecosystem built through precision, persistence, and purpose.”
The accomplishment reflects Sloan India’s operational ethos where consistency, relevance, and action shape outcomes that serve both functionality and people.
