Sumadhura Group Sets Record For Largest & Fastest Continuous Concrete Pour

Sumadhura Group, South India’s leading real estate developer recently set a record-breaking milestone in the history of Hyderabad's residential real estate industry—successfully completing continuous concrete pouring at the construction site of their uber-luxury residential project, Palais Royale. This remarkable milestone involved pouring a massive 6000 cubic meters of concrete in just 50 hours. The concrete pouring process commenced at early hours on December 28th and was completed in the early hours of December 30th.

This achievement signifies the Group’s commitment to delivering the project on-time while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation. The construction milestone is notable as it marks one of the largest and fastest continuous concrete pouring in the residential real estate sector in Hyderabad.

The task was undertaken by Sumadhura Group, consisting of over 85 technical staff and 300 workers working seamlessly together round the clock. To distribute the concrete, 74 concrete millers were utilized along with boom placers and regular concrete pumps. The completed structure features eight layers of steel at the bottom and six layers of steel at the top, with the top finish level of the concrete comprising four different levels of depth.

This achievement exemplifies how the real estate giant is leveraging state-of-the-art methods, effective engineering practices, and exceptional technical and logistical efficiency to execute various phases of construction.

Announcing this, Naveen Kumar Gunda, Director-Operations, Sumadhura Group said, “With this significant achievement, we have not only made substantial progress in the construction and development of our project, Palais Royale, we have set a new standard for construction in the residential real estate landscape of Hyderabad. Although the task presented a significant challenge, the project organizers and managers prioritized the safety of the workmen on-site. The operation began with the challenge of preparing and clearing the roads leading to the construction site, ensuring minimal disruption to public use. This project was carried out in the heart of the financial district, where managing traffic posed a significant challenge, further showcasing the ability to deliver outstanding results under demanding conditions.

One of the most prestigious offerings by Sumadhura, Palais Royale is spread across 7.35 acres of land parcel with a saleable area of 2.6 mn sq ft.The offering will feature a magnificent 52-storeyed high-rise tower spread across three wings and comprise of 523 units of 4 & 5 bed residences. This uber-luxury residential project is located at the Financial District of Hyderabad, which offers seamless connectivity to major business hubs, entertainment zones, and lifestyle destinations. The project commenced in July 2024 and is expected to be completed towards the end of 2029.
