Vibrant Energy, a leading owner and developer of corporate renewable energy solutions, is delighted to announce Vinay Pabba will be its next Chief Executive Officer.
Vinay Pabba, who is currently Vibrant Energy’s COO, will shortly be stepping up into the role of CEO. He brings with him a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry. In his previous roles with leading clean energy companies like Greenko, Virescent and Brookfield, he has lead execution teams that have developed an enviable track record of delivering large format clean energy projects on time and budget. He brings in diverse experience both at CXO and board level.
The news follows Srini Viswanathan’s decision to step down as Vibrant’s CEO in order to spend more time with his family in Singapore. Vinay Pabba, Vibrant Energy’s incoming CEO said, “I would like to thank Srini Viswanathan for his impressive stewardship of the company for 8 years. He brought endless passion and energy and has been a devoted champion of client experience and has shaped how the Vibrant brand is perceived across the C&I RE market in India. I am looking forward to taking Vibrant through its next phase of growth.”
Anirban Das, CIO will also be stepping into a new role of Deputy CEO and CIO with additional responsibilities and delivery mandates. He brings with him a rich experience of more than $2.5 billion of infrastructure debt funding in India, with a special focus on financing green energy since its very nascent stages of development in India.
The new leadership team will work closely with the outgoing CEO to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
