Welspun Corp Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Saudi Aramco at the ongoing Aramco IKTVA Forum & Exhibition 2025, to establish a state-of-the-art Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) line pipe manufacturing facility in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The facility, located in Dammam 3rd Industrial City, will have an annual production capacity of 350,000 MT and is expected to commence operations by mid-2026.
Welspun Corp, a one of the global leaders in manufacturing large-diameter line pipes, has been a regular partner of Saudi Aramco for nearly two decades, contributing to several prestigious oil & gas pipeline projects within the Kingdom.
The new facility will be equipped with comprehensive capabilities to support future line pipe requirements for Saudi Aramco's ongoing and upcoming projects, including the transmission of oil, gas, hydrogen, and CCUS developments. This collaboration reinforces Welspun Corp's position as a trusted partner in the global energy sector, while also contributing to the Kingdom’s strategic industrial goals.
