Gandhinagar Municipal Corp Office Building Becomes Solar Powered
The new office building of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) has become AatmaNirbhar for electricity generation through a 357-kilowatt solar plant. The rooftop solar panel installed on the building will allow a saving of up to Rs 2.5 lakh every month in electricity bills. A 357-kilowatt solar plant will generate over 1300 units of electricity daily. The solar panels have been installed under the smart city mission. The solar plant started operating on Friday after the completion of wiring.
