Nahar Group wins First Prize in a BMC competition for best gardens & horticulture
The onset of New Year 2020 couldn’t have been better with it bestowing laurels on Nahar Group – Leading Real-Estate developers of Mumbai. Nahar Group participated in 25th BMC Garden & Horticulture Competition and won FIRST Prize in the category of best Podium Garden all over Mumbai. There were more than 100 competitors/ entries across Industries, Corporates & Real Estate Industries. Speaking on winning the first prize, Ms ManjuYagnik, Vice Chairperson, Nahar Group, says, “We consciously strive towards providing more open spaces and creating green spaces by way of regularly holding tree-plantation drives to be in sync with the environment which is conducive for sustainable living. We are proud to note that Amrit Shakti hosts lush green trees and gardens for its residents particularly podium garden which has won us many laurels in the past as well.” While the podium garden is a popular concept in Western cities like as Los Angeles, Sydney and London, Nahar group pioneered this concept with Amrit Shakti, over a decade ago, hence emerged as a trendsetter for developing the podium space which is becoming an important urban element. The recognition is instituted by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to reward the efforts of people & corporations who do good work in conserving and planting trees and gardens. The civic body BMC undertakes various measures to conserve trees and keeping in line with that the competition had multiple criteria for eligibility for the participants. Nahar’s Amrit Shakti is proud to have a prize-winning podium garden.
