Prestige Estates appoints Mr. Venkat K Narayana as Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Venkat K Narayana has been elevated as the Chief Executive Officer of the Prestige Estates from Executive Director – Finance & CFO. Mr. Venkat K. Narayana (37) has been involved in amyriad aspects in the companies’ operations & growth and has pioneered several strategic initiatives to success. He was instrumental in the listing of shares of the Company on Indian bourses and for entering into several strategic joint ventures. Narayana was ranked among the Best CFO’s in Asia (in property sector) by the Institutional Investor magazine’s 2015 and also won the prestigious CFO 100 award under the category ‘Winning Edge’ in Raising Capital from CFO Institute. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Cost Accountant and a Law Graduate. Commenting on the appointment Mr. Irfan Razack, CMD, Prestige Group said, “Mr. Venkat is associated with the group for over 14 years and has been working very closely with me as the CFO. His transactional expertise in the real estate industry has greatly benefitted our Company and he has a strong track record of executing corporate strategy and driving operational efficiency. Further, Mr. VVBS Sarma (61), who is associated with the Group for over 2 decades and currently working in the capacity of Executive Director – Finance & Accounts of M/s. Prestige Property Management & Services, the services arm of the Group, has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company in place of Mr. Venkat K Narayana. He is a Qualified Chartered Accountant. He will now oversee accounts, audit and other statutory compliance related functions of the company.
