Tata Power Q1 net profit surges 125% YoY to Rs. 164 crore
Tata Power reported 125.93 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit (attributable to owners) at Rs 163.78 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 against Rs 72.49 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Consolidated total income of Tata Power increased 3.08 per cent YoY to Rs 6,999.90 crore during the quarter under review. It had reported consolidated total income of Rs 6,790.58 crore in the same quarter last year. Total expenditure of Tata Power increased to Rs 6651.77 crore from Rs 6433.56 crore during the same period.
