In Hinduism, it represents the Trimurti: Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver), and Shiva (the destroyer). It symbolizes a balance of forces in different spiritual traditions. It can also represent a balance of three aspects, like mind, body, and spirit, in various spiritual and philosophical traditions.
