Affordable Housing Through Affordable Housing Fund Underway in Dublin
Over 50 new homes are available to buy in Dublin for less than €300,000 under the affordable housing scheme. The properties on offer consist of a mix of two and three-bedroom houses and are based in Hayestown, Rush near the seaside. For eligible applicants, prices start at €228,000 for a two-bedroom mid-terrace house. The cost of a three-bedroom mid-terrace house will begin at €284,500, while a three-bedroom semi-detached house will be priced from €299,500. The development is located near Rush town centre, close to the scenic Fingal coastline. Rush offers convenient access to Dublin through a regular train service, making it an attractive choice for commuters. Hayestown spans approximately six acres and forms part of an ongoing development. Construction of the new homes in Hayestown is already underway, and the entire development is expected to be completed by 2024. Expressing his support for the initiative, the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Howard Mahony, said: “Affordable housing is the cornerstone of a thriving community that can help empower individuals and families, and help to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to build a brighter future.
