A former Los Angeles home of the late U.S. President Ronald Reagan has sold for $70 mn.  Located in the Bird Streets neighborhood of West Hollywood, the seven-bedroom, 12-bathroom home was sold off the market. It was first listed for $80 mn, according to listing records. The $70 million deal was recorded the same day.

A company with ties to Canadian businessman and Chairman of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks Francesco Aquilini has owned the address for the past decade.  The entity, which shares an address with Aquilini Centre West, a residential complex in Vancouver owned by Aquilini Investment Group, purchased it for $8.5 mn. Aquilini, 53, is the Chairman of the investment group.

Branden and Rayni Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates represented the property. The home was built for the 40th President and his first wife, actress Jane Wyman, who lived there with their young children in the 1940s. Built on a private knoll, the property offers views of the city and the mountains, with the ocean beyond. The home was recently remodeled.
