Pradeep Jain, Founder Chairman, Parsvnath Developers Limited, who won the Award in the category of Developer of the Year – Commercial for the Project – Red Fort Capital Parsvnath Tower, speaks with Realty Plus about his company and its USP How does it feel to receive the award from Realty Plus? It was indeed a proud moment to receive the “Developer of the Year – Commercial” award for Parsvnath’s key commercial project ‘Red Fort Capital Parsvnath Tower’ situated in the Central Business District of Delhi. The project spread across 5 acres boasts of state of the art facilities along with a wide range of corporate amenities like fine dining restaurants, ATMS, premium cafés, sky gardens etc. Several reputed international and national companies like Regus, ICICI Lombard, Thomson Reuters, State Bank Of India, Axis Bank, Aditya Birla Finance etc. have already occupied space in this project. Has it raised the bar of expectation from you for the future? Indeed, it has. In fact awards and recognition does set a perception in the minds of stakeholders and then a certain amount of commitment, quality and innovation gets naturally expected from a developer. Do you think the jury process was transparent? Analyzing the award categories, the nominations and the winners announced during the awards ceremony, I can confidently say that the jury was absolutely transparent in judging the winners for respective categories. What is the USP of your company? Swiftness in sighting a lucrative opportunity for the development of commercial (office and retail) projects, offering a correct product mix in the retail segment to cater to the needs of all age groups, state of the art design & architecture and identification of strategic locations to ensure maximum footfalls in projects are the key USPs of the company. What is the advice you would like to give to upcoming and young developers? The commercial segment plays a pivotal role in the sustenance of a real estate developer even in the challenging macro-economic scenario. In a scenario when the residential segment faces the consequence of an economic slowdown and the customers postpone their purchases, the commercial segment ensures regular cash flows and enables the company to offset the constraints of low demand for residential segment. The developers should therefore aim at having an appropriate product mix comprising of residential and commercial segments in order to ensure steady cash flows.
