Ankush Kaul, President – Sales and Marketing, Ambience Group Connectivity of a micro-market with other parts of the city and other neighboring regions often forms the basis of an all-round urban development. With this perspective in mind, the Haryana Government’s recent move to clear the final DPR of the Metro Rail connecting HUDA City Centre to other parts of Gurugram is laudable. This is going to be a game changer for the Gurugram realty market, especially for sectors along the new corridors, Northern Peripheral Road and Sector 22. Connectivity of key developments via Rapid Metro will make the particular investment more valuable over time. Those living in these sectors and newly connected areas can experience ease of travel to other parts of NCR through the already well developed network. Being closer to both Gurugram’s business districts and New Delhi’s Dwarka Sub-City, the newly connected regions will get a new lease of life and superb infrastructure. The connectivity boost is likely to impact the real estate prices in the near future across the commercial and residential real estate. As per news reports, the total length of the corridor shall be about 28.80 km, consisting 27 elevated stations with six interchange stations. This link would start at HUDA City Centre and move towards Sector 45, Cyber Park, district shopping centre, Sector 47, Subhash Chowk, Sector 48, Sector 72 A, Hero Honda Chowk, Udyog Vihar Phase 6, Sector 10, Sector 37, Basai village, Sectors 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9, Ashok Vihar, Bajghera Road, Palam Vihar Extension, Palam Vihar, Sector 23 A, Sector 22, Udyog Vihar Phases 4 and 5, and finally merge in the existing Metro network of Rapid Metro Rail Gurugram at the Moulsari Avenue station near Cyber City. Ambience Group has its luxury project Ambience Creacions in Sector 22 which is on this corridor. The residents are undoubtedly going to benefit tremendously with this upcoming infra boost.
