13th Realty+ Conclave Pune 2022 Concluded on a Note of Positivity for Real Estate Sector
The 13th Realty+ Conclave Pune 2022 held on a virtual platform on February 26, 2022 saw the convergence of real estate leaders from Pune and across the country. The day commenced on a high note with the inspiring Inaugural Address by Dr. Annurag Batra, Editor-in-Chief & Chairman, exchange4media Group & BusinessWorld expressing his positive sentiments for the real estate sector setting the tone of the day that had thought leaders of Indian real estate sharing their views on the hot topics of the India’s realty. The first session of the day discussed the recently announced budget 2022 and the expert observation over the past month on its impact on real estate. The topic of the discussion was- Some Hits Some Misses: Budget Impact on Real Estate and was chaired by Shobhit Agarwal - MD & CEO - ANAROCK Capital. The eminent experts on the panel were - Abhishek Sharma, Partner (Co Head- Real Estate), Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Ambar Maheshwari, CEO, Indiabulls Asset Management Co. Another interesting session of the day was on the topic of Keeping–up the Momentum: Pune Housing Demand & Growth that was moderated by Piyush Gupta, Managing Director, Capital Markets & Investment Services, Colliers and the speakers of the session were - Anuj Dhody, Executive Director, City Head – Pune & Head - Advisory & Transaction Services, Pune –CBRE, Arvind Jain, Managing Director, Pride Group, Pankaj Kapoor, Founder & Managing Director, Liases Foras Real Estate Rating & Research Pvt. Ltd., Irfan A. Kazi, Chief Investment Officer- SWAMIH Investment Fund, SBICAP Ventures Ltd and Shailesh Purank, Managing Director, Puranik Builders Pvt. Ltd. They discussed how housing market of Pune is different from other cities and reasons realty growth in tier 2 cities is on an upswing, attracting both the end users and the investors. The final session of the day on the topic - Building Defining Strategies: Pune Realty Sales Outlook discussed the new ways of sales, the empathetic approach of the developers and the digital disruption taking place in the sector.
