Aamor Inox Limited, a manufacturer of stainless-steel bars, has bought 12 bighas of farmland along with a farmhouse from Mastcraft Properties Private Limited in South Delhi’s Rangpuri for Rs 87.5 crore.

The company paid a stamp duty of Rs 6.12 crore for the transaction, the documents showed. The farmland is located in village Malikpur Kohi alias Rangpuri in South Delhi. There was no immediate response from the buyer or the sellers to queries.

This is the latest in a string of notable deals sealed in Delhi this year. In September, Laxmi Devi Agarwal, wife of Devkinandan Agarwal, the promoter of GR Infraprojects Limited, purchased a 1,200 square yard bungalow in Vasant Vihar, an upscale Delhi locality, for Rs 86 crore.

In August, Renu Khuller, director of Global Dent Aids, a company that manufactures interdental brushes (a kind of substitute for floss), bought a bungalow spread across 873 square yards in Delhi’s posh Nizamuddin East section for Rs 61.70 crore.

In May, Lenskart co-founder Peyush Bansal purchased a house in Neeti Bagh for Rs 18 crore, while in March, a 2,160-square-foot bungalow was bought in the name of Vasudha Rohatgi, wife of former attorney general of India, Mukul Rohatgi, in Delhi's tony Golf Links locality for Rs 160 crore
