RLDA Invites Bids for Leasing Land in Sirsa, Haryana

Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory authority of Indian Railways, has invited bids for leasing out a 29,065 sqm land parcel at Sirsa Haryana in Bikaner Division of Railways for Residential development (67% Residential and 33% Commercial).

The proposed land parcel is located near railway colony and will be leased out for 99 years. The reserve price of the land is approximately INR 28.47 crores. The Pre-Bid meeting was held on 25.08.2022 in which state & Local level developers participated and their queries were answered. The last date for submission of e-Bids is 7.10.2022. 

Ved Parkash Dudeja, Vice Chairman, RLDA said “The proposed land parcel located at Sirsa is a predominantly Residential development where 33% can be developed as commercial. This kind of development will facilitate a holistic ecosystem in that region. Sirsa is continuously moving forward on the path of development. To give more impetus to development, the government has launched slew of infrastructure initiatives that will further boost the development”.

Sirsa district is the largest district of Haryana state with Sirsa as the district headquarters. Haryana Government has planned substantial infusion of funds in this region with announcement of various development works worth Rs. 575 Crores for Sirsa District- Projects worth more than 13 Crores for health, construction of road network at a cost of Rs. 88 Crores, Rs. 34 Crores for water draining system and Rs. 226 Crores for development works in rural areas. Thus, Sirsa district as well as the Sirsa city is on high growth path. From Developer’s point of view, investing in this plot of land offered by RLDA shall be a golden opportunity.
