Strata Cuts Down Min Investment Ticket Size to Attract Women Investors

Strata, said that it has reduced its minimum investment ticket size by more than 40% for women retail investors. With this Strata aims to empower more women retail investors to actively invest in CRE through the fractional route.

With the objective of propagating a gender-diverse investment landscape in CRE, Strata has reduced its minimum investment ticket size from 25 lakh to 15 lakh in A-grade commercial properties through a fractional route. Besides advancing gender equity, the company aims to empower more women with financial independence while enabling them to participate in the country’s CRE investment growth story. Strata’s investor base currently comprises of 25% women which it aims to upscale to 50% by 2025.

The real-estate investment platform has been consciously driving education and awareness campaigns to build more cognizance among women investors while encouraging them to grow financially independent.

In honor of the International Women’s Day, Strata launched #WeekOfWonderWomen campaign, effective 1st March. A special initiative for women and by women, the campaign was led by Priyanka Rathore, Co-founder, Strata.  Commenting on the development, Priyanka Rathode, Co-founder & COO, Strata, said “Today ‘financial independence’ for women is no longer a luxury but a necessity, an indispensable skill that can help her guard herself and her loved ones from exigencies and dire situations. Real-estate investing which has always been a male dominated sector is now attracting women who are eyeing the latter not just from a consumption standpoint but also as a potential asset class for active investing.”
