Tribe Student Accommodation Ventures Into Co-Living

After having raised a pre-series A round of funding for their operation, Tribe Student Accommodation, now looking to raise about 10 million USD for further expansion in the upcoming years, ventures into the Co-living domain to redefine community living in India. 

Tribe has identified 20 educational cities in India including Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Manipal, Jaipur, Chennai and Indore where they aim to set up luxury accommodation spaces and is now looking at exploring Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi to set up their Co-living centres in the next 18 months.

Tribe is aiming to attract clientele from major companies, institutes and customers who value quality and experience beyond an ordinary standard - and envisions interest even from as far as Chakan, Talegaon and Hinjewadi. 

Providing amenities like Co-working spaces operating 24x7, cafe, bar, restaurant, 24x7 room service, laundry, fitness centre, yoga/meditation room, theatre, PS room, private party areas, infinity pool, 5-star community areas, valet options, plethora of top end stores and brands in the same building, Tribe will change the way co-living is viewed in India. 

The first centre will accommodate close to 250 premium rooms in over 1,20,000 sqft. Through this state of art establishment, Tribe always intends to cater to expats and senior management employees of corporations as well and tap into the unexplored market segment for co-living.

An emerging player in the market, Tribe will aim at playing a bigger hand in driving the co-living market in India, which is expected to double by 2024, according to a report by Colliers Advisory. After offering India's most premium co-living spaces, Tribe co-living facility will be equipped with the top-notch amenities, thoughtful design and will be located at some of the most sought-after locations in each market.
