Brookfield Properties, celebrated Earth Day with a series of engaging activities across its campuses. The campaign, which was launched on April 19, was designed to raise environmental awareness and address the impact of climate change by encouraging behavioural change and building a greater sense of community.

The campaign features three key events, including ‘Ploggers Drive’, ‘Picnic by the Pond’, an employee volunteering activity, and a ‘Sustainability Talks’ series. Picnic by the Pond, conducted around a restored pond, lake, or park, promotes sustainability as a culture by instilling a sense of responsibility and encouraging participation through storytelling. This event features a clean-up program collaborating with the employee network. The activity was conducted in Kasan Pond and Biodiversity Park in Manesar, Powai Lake in Mumbai and Madiwala Lake in Bengaluru.

Additionally, ‘Sustainability Talks’ is an upcoming knowledge sharing series planned with the key stakeholders and tenants across its campuses.

Alok Aggarwal, MD and CEO, Brookfield Properties said, "At Brookfield Properties, we're fully committed to achieving net-zero goals through our unwavering focus on sustainability. Our green initiatives are carefully designed to optimize natural resources, promote the well-being and development of our people, and positively impact the environment. On this Earth Day, we're proud to be engaging with over 1200 of our occupants across our campuses in India through a series of sustainability initiatives that inspire sustainable action in our communities. Let's work towards making significant changes that benefit both our planet and our people to create a better world together.”
