We are also extremely appreciative of the support extended by UNHCR in organizing this annual event that offers an excellent platform for promoting fitness and harmony amongst the diplomatic communities based in Chennai. The Ascott Premier League is also an opportunity for the UN refugees to demonstrate their skills in this exciting sporting event.”

Commenting on the initiative, a spokesperson from UNHCR said: “Sports engages displaced children and youth actively and meaningfully.
