India's First Ever B School Campus in WeWork India by Mesa School of Business
With an aim to create future startup business leaders, Mesa School of Business launched their first campus in WeWork India - India’s leading flexible workspace. Situated in Salarpuria Symbiosis, Mesa School of Business intends to create a uniquely immersive learning environment for its students. This collaboration aims to provide a distinct learning experience, where leaders and founders from high-growth companies along with top business school faculty will converge and engage with students at Mesa School of Business, and shape them into future startup leaders. The new campus, located on Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru will offer a dynamic learning environment in a space spanning over 50,000 square feet. The bright, spacious dedicated space will provide students access to state-of-the-art classrooms, ideation zones, and areas for team collaboration, community building & recreation. The synergy between Mesa School of Business and WeWork represents a turning point in reimagining the future of learning spaces. “To really understand what it means to lead & build startups, it is very important to be at the heart of where the action is. Since our program is unique and is made up of several different types of teaching methods, we wanted our campus to be able to support that. Through this collaboration we are further expanding our scope and offering students an opportunity to be in the midst of action and connect with a diverse range of organisations.” Mesa’s 1 year PG program in startup leadership focuses on applied learning, industry exposure, and personalised mentorship, and the curriculum aims to prepare 60 hand-picked students in its founding cohort for the challenges of leadership roles in Indian Startups. As part of curriculum, while top business school faculty will teach foundation concepts in a case study-based method, students will get a chance to apply those concepts in real time across bootcamps and hackathons, build 5 micro businesses in the year in sprint modes to go from 0 to 1 and generate revenue in less than 10 weeks. There will be a variety of teaching methods deployed in the curriculum to enable these learning outcomes. The full-time course will also offer over 200 hours of leadership workshops with army veterans, communication and stage presence hackathons with coaches, theatre artists and industry mentorship. Mesa is India’s only business school for the startup leaders of tomorrow, with esteemed faculty members and over 100 startup founders & leaders teaching students real-world entrepreneurial competencies and providing mentorship. Admission process is currently going on for the founding cohort.
