Schindler India Launches ‘Hatke Design Contest’ for Architecture Students

Contest aims at getting India’s brightest minds design an elevator car interior To increase customer engagement with the brand and to tap into the talented minds of budding architects, Schindler India has launched Hatke Design Contest 2020.  It is a one-of-a-kind Elevator Car Interior design challenge for Architecture Students (in 2nd, 3rd, 4th year) across India. The registrations for the contest have already begun and the last date to register for the same is 17th Aug, 20. The deadline to submit design entries is 31st Aug, 20. The winners of the contest will be announced on 30th Sept, 20. The participating students are required to design flooring, car wall panels, deco ceiling and handrail for the contest. The top three entries will win a cash prize of INR 3,00,000, 1,50,000 and 50,000 respectively. Post registrations a detailed project brief will be provided to all the participants. The contest aims to give an opportunity to the budding architects to showcase their imagination and get a chance to stand out as design thinkers. Commenting on this announcement, the company spokesperson from Schindler India said, “We’re extremely thrilled to roll-out this competition with an eye on India’s bright future and the wonders young talented minds can do. The initial response has been fantastic and as the days progress, we expect more and more students of Architecture sign-up for the Hatke Design Contest.
