Signature Global Signs MoU for EV Charging Stations with EVRE
To support India's goal of reducing carbon emissions, Signature Global, a leading Indian real estate brand that stands for making India affordable, adopts the EV friendly route. The group signed an MoU with EVRE, India’s leading EV charging infratech for the set-up of the EV charging stations across the Signature Global properties in Delhi NCR. In the first step, EVRE will install EV stations at Signature Global’s 8 projects located in NCR. Under the partnership, EVRE will supply, install, operate, and maintain AC fast and DC fast chargers depending upon the demand at the respective location. All the chargers will be operated by the EV users through the EVRE App. The partnership will help an estimated approximately 25000 households of condominiums by Signature Global across NCR with world-class EV charging infrastructure, available with the ease of operating an App that will book the parking and charging slots along with ease of payment. The first set of EV chargers will be installed at the Signature Global properties-Andour Heights at Sector 71, Synera at Sector 81, Solera at Sector 107, Grand Iva at Sector 103, Orchard Avenue at Sector 93, and SG Park 2/3 at Sector 36, Sohna, SG Mall at Vaishali, Ghaziabad and will be operational in the next few months. All the charging points in the community are capable of telematics for real-time monitoring, dynamic load management, and unmanned operation. The EV charging facility will be available for use through the one-web dashboard and EVRE App. Under the partnership, EVRE has been provided with an exclusivity period of 10 years to operate and maintain the EV charging infrastructure set-up by them. This unique partnership will benefit Signature Global with a zero-capex model where EVRE will conceptualise, plan, implement, and maintain the EV charging infrastructure for the residents and their guests of the condominiums.
