Some of the traits I lean on as a leader are perseverance, resilience, and genuine understanding of those we work with and serve. They have shaped my approach to leadership. At the same time, understanding people – be it customers, employees, or partners – has enabled me to communicate better. In real estate, it always comes down to people.
How do you inspire and motivate your team?
Consistently taking the time to keep every person involved with the situation informed, creates alignment and a shared commitment to succeed. I prioritize listening, offering support, and celebrating every team member, ensuring they feel valued, empowered, and motivated.
What challenges have you faced as a leader?
One of the key challenges is navigating uncertainty – whether due to market shifts, regulatory changes, or evolving customer expectations. I’ve found that communicating clearly, and listening with empathy have made all the difference. So, that customers as well as employees feel heard, understood, and valued through every step.
How do you make tough decisions?
Being open to all perspectives, listening actively, and thinking long-term are essential – and staying rooted in the company’s core values ensures that decisions remain responsible, balanced, and aligned with our purpose. With over three decades of experience, I've learned that everything ultimately comes down to people – understanding them, acting with integrity, and communicating with clarity. When empathy builds strong, human connections and ethics guide our decisions, we create an environment built on trust, accountability, and shared purpose. No matter the industry or your role, this is a mindset that never fails.
