International property consultancy Savills India has announced the appointment of Karthikeyan Rathinam as Senior Director – Land Advisory & Transactions, marking a strategic move to deepen its expertise in land acquisition, joint development, and capital structuring.
With over 18 years of experience in real estate advisory, land transactions, and capital raising, Karthikeyan brings a multi-sectoral perspective to Savills India’s growing land practice. His career spans leadership roles at JLL India, where he headed the Land Transaction vertical, and Shriram Properties Ltd., where he served as AVP – Business Development. He also founded KeyaLandCorp Consultants and led Suryodaya Renewable Energy as CEO.
Karthikeyan’s advisory background includes research and policy roles at the Human Settlement Management Institute, Institute of Social Sciences, and National Cooperative Housing Federation of India, contributing to urban governance, housing policy evaluation, and socio-economic studies.
He holds a Master’s in Housing (M.Plan) from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s in Architecture (B.Arch) from Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
With offices across major metros including Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi NCR, Savills India has been delivering expert real estate solutions since 2016. Karthikeyan’s appointment is expected to enhance the firm’s capabilities in strategic land advisory, offering clients deeper insights and value creation across development, investment, and infrastructure mandates.
