Indians can now secure lifetime residency in the UAE through a nomination-based Golden Visa model, introduced on a pilot basis at a one-time fee of Rs 23.3 lakh. Unlike previous routes requiring property or business investments of Rs 4.66 crore or more, this visa focuses on professional merit, social impact, and potential contributions to UAE’s economy.
Eligible applicants include entrepreneurs, educators, scientists, digital creators, e-sports professionals, and luxury yacht owners. The nomination process involves background checks, including financial, criminal, and social media screening, with final approval from UAE authorities. Applications can be submitted via Rayad Group offices, One Vasco centres, or online platforms, with pre-approval available from India.
Visa holders may relocate with family and domestic staff, and engage in business or professional work freely. India and Bangladesh are the first countries selected for the pilot, with China and other CEPA partners expected to follow. The initiative reflects growing UAE–India ties under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed in 2022.
