TK Elevator India has appointed Dr. Niharika Rai as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective September 28, 2026.
Rai brings extensive global HR leadership experience across technology, engineering and manufacturing, with expertise in strategic HR, AI-driven workforce transformation, organisation design, talent management and leadership development.
Before joining TK Elevator, Rai served as HR Leader for Microsoft’s Cloud + AI, Security and MDQ businesses at its India Development Center. In that role, she supported more than 7,500 employees and partnered with over 20 senior business leaders on organisation design, AI-led transformation and workforce capability development.
Earlier, Rai was Group HR Head – P&ES and TBSPL at Thermax, where she led HR operations, employee relations, talent acquisition, rewards, performance management and capability development.
She has also held leadership roles at TD SYNNEX, where she led talent management across 13 Asia Pacific countries, and Honeywell Technologies, where her responsibilities included talent management, global business operations, engineering services and organisation development.
Her career also includes stints with Tata Management Training Centre and Tata AutoComp Systems, where she worked on leadership assessment, competency development and organisational transformation.
Rai holds a Fellow in Management qualification in Leadership Development from XLRI Jamshedpur. Her appointment brings cross-sector HR leadership experience to TK Elevator India, particularly across workforce transformation, leadership development and industrial HR.
