Israel Opens Its Biggest Shopping Mall

BIG Shopping Centres has officially opened BIG Fashion Glilot, Israel's largest shopping mall in Ramat Hasharon's new office park. Spanning 44 dunams (11 acres) with 43,000 square metres of commercial space and a 43-storey office tower, the NIS 2 billion complex promises to revolutionise the retail and leisure landscape in the region.

The mall features over 160 flagship stores from both international and Israeli brands, with prominent fashion groups like Zara and Fox taking centre stage. Notable openings include Zara's largest Israeli store and 16 Fox-brand outlets across 6,000 square metres. The mall also boasts high-end retailers such as Factory 54, which will house designer labels like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.

In addition to shopping, BIG Fashion Glilot aims to be a hub for dining and entertainment. More than 5,000 square metres of restaurant space will house well-known names such as Shake Shack and Aharoni's Fried Chicken and unique concepts like a tattoo studio. The mall is designed with two parallel streets and central squares, offering a mix of retail, leisure, and culinary experiences.

With ample parking and modern infrastructure, the project is part of BIG's broader strategy to reshape Israel's shopping centre landscape, positioning itself as a leader in the evolving retail market. The mall's accessibility and diverse offerings are expected to attract over half a million visitors monthly, solidifying its role as a key commercial and social destination.
