His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in a meeting with a team from the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, was briefed on the main approaches of the “Road Map for Leadership in the Energy, Infrastructure, Housing, and Transport” sectors to define the business objectives for the sector. His Highness discussed the country’s leading rankings in the energy, infrastructure and housing sectors, as the UAE maintained its first world ranking for the third year in a row with 100% in all indicators of “getting electricity” in the World Bank report.  Business Report 2020. The UAE ranked first in the region and 12 globally in terms of infrastructure quality, and first in regionally and seventh globally in terms of availability and quality of road and transportation infrastructure. The next ten years, in a way that translates the fifty-year strategy, within a comprehensive vision based on enhancing international competitiveness globally, supporting the sustainability of infrastructure, and forming and developing development projects within the framework of a comprehensive approach that leads to a completely new approach and the qualitative stage in this vital sector to achieve the aspirations of the government. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum pointed out that the UAE government is looking forward to providing decent housing for all citizens so that no one is left without decent housing while achieving family stability, community security and enhancing environmental sustainability. “Our logistical excellence cannot be preserved without improving the quality of the infrastructure and developing the transport sector by achieving qualitative leaps that reflect our aspirations for the next stage.”  He said.
