UP GOVT’S NEW SCHEME TO BOOST DATA CENTER PROJECTS

Amit Sarin, Managing Director, Anant Raj Limited believes this initiative is poised to significantly contribute towards meeting the burgeoning demand for data center infrastructure.

The Government of India is taking positive steps to protect the Indian Data and formulating the policies on priority to ensure that countries data remains within the country. Recently the Government of India, enacted the Data Protection Bill to ensure protection of Data, which has further boosted the demand for Data Centers, attracting international investors keen on tapping into the Indian market. Expectations are high for a substantial increase in investments in this sector in the coming years, with data storage needs projected to exceed 2,000 MW IT Load Capacity by fiscal year 2025.

At Anant Raj Limited, we recognized the burgeoning demand for data centers and embarked on this journey in 2019. Looking ahead, we are committed to developing a total of 300MW of Data centers across Manesar, Rai, and Panchkula which will unfold over the next 4-5 years. Out of total capacity for which land and building is ready, the development of phase-1 having 21 MW,Tier-III Data Centre at Manesar, Haryana facility is in advanced stage. Initial 3 MW is fully operational and the next phase will be operational soon.
