Adani Group has entered into a three-year strategic partnership with US-based design technology giant Autodesk to digitally transform its vast infrastructure operations across India and overseas. The collaboration will see the conglomerate adopt Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and advanced Building Information Modelling (BIM) advisory services to enhance design, efficiency, and sustainability across projects.
In a statement, the group said the partnership aims to create a digitally connected and future-ready infrastructure ecosystem—an effort aligned with Adani’s ongoing push to integrate technology and data-driven innovation into its operations.
Under this collaboration, Adani will use Autodesk’s end-to-end design and make solutions to unify data across its business units, improving coordination, transparency, and project delivery timelines. The adoption of ACC—a suite of tools that connects workflows, teams, and data throughout the construction lifecycle—will help standardize processes and drive greater collaboration between teams working on large-scale projects.
KS Rao, CEO of Adani Infra India Ltd., called the partnership a major step forward in the group’s digital evolution. “This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver sustainable, high-quality infrastructure efficiently, setting a new benchmark for design-led innovation across the Adani ecosystem,” Rao said.
Autodesk, headquartered in San Francisco, is best known for its industry-defining software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D, which are widely used in architecture, engineering, and construction. Through its platform, the company enables organizations to integrate design intelligence, data analytics, and automation across their operations.
Kamolika Gupta Peres, Vice President for India and SAARC at Autodesk, said the collaboration represents a shared vision for smarter and more sustainable growth. “Together, we’re leveraging Autodesk’s Design and Make platform to power a digital ecosystem that drives smarter, more sustainable growth—setting new benchmarks for how India designs and builds to serve the needs of today and the future,” she said.
Digitising Adani’s Infrastructure Ecosystem
The initiative is part of Adani’s flagship digital transformation programme, Parivartaan, which seeks to digitise the entire project lifecycle—from planning and design to construction and maintenance. By embedding digital tools into its processes, Adani aims to increase efficiency and reduce project delays across its diversified operations, spanning energy, logistics, airports, cement, and digital services.
The use of Autodesk Construction Cloud will enable project teams to access real-time data, manage risks more effectively, and make informed decisions based on predictive insights. The integration of AI and automation tools will also play a key role in improving design accuracy, reducing waste, and ensuring sustainability compliance across the group’s infrastructure projects.
According to industry experts, the partnership underscores a growing shift in India’s infrastructure sector toward digitalisation and sustainability. With projects becoming increasingly complex, developers are turning to data-centric platforms like ACC to streamline operations and meet environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.
Building Skills for the Future
Beyond technology adoption, the Adani–Autodesk partnership will focus on capacity building and knowledge sharing. Initiatives will include leadership workshops, process standardisation efforts, BIM capability building, and partner enablement programmes. The two companies will also collaborate on upskilling initiatives to train Adani’s engineering and project management teams in digital design and construction tools.
For Autodesk, this partnership adds to its growing footprint in India, where the company already supports several major infrastructure players. It currently works with Tata Projects on multiple large-scale public infrastructure projects and has been expanding its regional presence in the Asia-Pacific market.
Setting a New Digital Benchmark
The tie-up marks a significant step in Adani’s efforts to redefine infrastructure management through technology. By integrating Autodesk’s digital capabilities, the conglomerate aims to create a unified project environment that connects people, processes, and data—ensuring smarter planning, faster execution, and greater accountability.
As global infrastructure demands grow, partnerships like this signal a shift in how large conglomerates are reimagining construction and design. For Adani, the collaboration with Autodesk could well become the cornerstone of a new era of digital-first, sustainable infrastructure—setting the stage for how India builds its future.
