Bangalore Development Authority Set To Complete Its Ambitious Villa Project

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) is set to complete its ambitious villa project - Puneeth Rajkumar Housing Complex - at Hunnigere village near Dasanapura, north Bengaluru, in two months. 

The 322 swanky villas will be readied for sale and those interested can apply online. They will be sold on first-come, first served basis. The project was conceived in 2018 on 31 acres of land at a cost of Rs 271 crore. Each villa will have a water sump, overhead tank, lawn and parking facility. 

There is a 44,000 sqft clubhouse with modern amenities in the complex, a park in 5 lakh sqft area, basketball court, cricket ground and children's playground. "Construction is nearing completion and within two months we will complete the remaining work," said Yogesh, BDA's assistant executive engineer.

The authority has constructed 170 4-BHK villas and 152 3-BHK ones. It has a fixed base price of Rs 75 lakh for 3-BHK villas and Rs 1.1 crore for 4- BHK. Offcials said the villas may get 10% costlier than the base price by the time they are ready for sale. 

The BDA has also constructed an apartment complex with 320 1-BHK flats in the locality. Villa owners can purchase each for around Rs 14 lakh to provide accommodation for their maids, drivers and other supporting manpower.
