BPTP Limited has brought in a seasoned hand at a time when real estate marketing is becoming as critical as construction itself. The company has appointed Shalini Jha as Senior Vice President – Marketing, tasking her with shaping brand strategy and deepening customer engagement across its portfolio.
The move comes as developers in the National Capital Region are recalibrating how they speak to buyers, investors, and a more digitally aware audience. For BPTP, which has a mix of residential and commercial projects, the emphasis is clearly shifting from just selling space to building a brand narrative that holds across cycles.
Experience Across Sectors, Not Just Real Estate
Jha brings over two decades of experience, and notably, not all of it sits within real estate. Her career spans retail, hospitality, banking and finance, and public relations. That breadth matters in a sector where consumer expectations are increasingly shaped by experiences outside property.
Over the years, she has worked on integrated campaigns that cut across traditional media, digital platforms, partnerships, and on-ground activations. She has also handled large marketing budgets, suggesting familiarity with both scale and accountability. Her engagement with industry bodies such as CREDAI, ASSOCHAM, CII, NASSCOM, and FICCI also positions her within a wider business ecosystem, not just a single sector silo.
A Familiar Face in NCR Realty Circles
Before joining BPTP, Jha was with Krisumi Corporation as Senior Vice President – Marketing. There, she led marketing strategy and execution for the company’s portfolio, focusing on positioning and campaign delivery. Her move signals a broader churn in NCR’s real estate leadership pool, where experienced marketing professionals are increasingly being seen as core to business strategy rather than support functions.
What BPTP Is Signalling
The company’s leadership has framed the appointment as a strategic step. Vishal Singh, Chief Human Resource Officer at BPTP, pointed to Jha’s cross-sector understanding and real estate experience as key to driving the company’s marketing agenda. The underlying message is clear. As supply grows and competition intensifies, differentiation will hinge less on inventory and more on perception, trust, and customer experience.
Marketing as the New Battleground
For developers operating in NCR, the shift is already visible. Buyers today arrive informed, often having compared projects online, read reviews, and engaged with digital content before ever visiting a site. This changes the role of marketing from a final-mile sales enabler to an early-stage influence builder. It is about shaping how a project is perceived long before a transaction happens.
Jha’s mandate at BPTP reflects this transition. Beyond brand strategy and communications, her focus includes customer engagement, an area that increasingly extends beyond the point of sale into long-term relationship management.
The Road Ahead
BPTP’s expansion ambitions in NCR make this appointment timely. As the company looks to strengthen its footprint, consistent brand messaging and sharper positioning will be critical. For Jha, the challenge will lie in translating experience across sectors into a cohesive real estate narrative, one that resonates with both first-time homebuyers and seasoned investors.
In a market where projects can look similar on paper, the difference often lies in how they are told. That is where marketing leadership begins to matter, and where this appointment could shape BPTP’s next phase of growth.
