Centrum Housing Finance's Sanjay Shukla will be the Managing Director (MD) of the National Housing Bank (NHB). The decision comes after an evaluation process conducted by the Financial Services Institutions Bureau, which scrutinised 16 candidates for the post.
With a background that encompasses startup ventures across five different organisations, instrumental franchise establishment for a major multinational bank in non-metro areas, and pivotal roles in entities like LIC Housing Finance Ltd., Shukla brings a wealth of experience and insight to the table.
Shukla has proficiency in domains including product management, franchise development, relationship management, portfolio analytics, brand management, sales & distribution, and credit management.
This appointment assumes significance against the backdrop of NHB's plans to raise capital by issuing bonds.
