Crimson Hotels, a hospitality consultancy and management company based in Delhi NCR, will have its first 5-star deluxe property under management soon at the industrial town of Bhilwara in Rajasthan. A greenfield project by a local real estate developer, Yash RealMart, the 150 room and suites resort will also be the first 5-star resort to come up in the industrial town of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Branded as The Aaureum Resort Bhilwara, the resort hotel will have a huge convention and conference facility in 20,000 square feet, with the biggest pillar-less ball room having 14,000 sqft area.
Sharing the details, Sandeep Maitraya, director of Crimson Hotels said that the resort will soft-open in February with all the 150 rooms, convention and banquet facilities, all the F&B offerings, etc. An international standard Club facility and a couple of other amenities will be added to the integrated resort in the next few months to be ready for full-fledged operations by July this year, he said. Explaining the key features of the resort which is spread in 7.5 acres area, Maitraya said that the accommodation facilities at the property will be divided into two distinguishable areas - the resort zone with 90 rooms and the hotel zone with 60 rooms. There will be separate entry and exit for all the three areas - convention area, resort and the hotel areas.
The dedicated convention area can host events of 1500 pax while the two open lawns attached to it can host events of 5000 pax capacity. Known as the ‘Textile City’, Bhilwara lacks a 5-star hotel or a worldclass convention centre, said Maitraya.
The convention centre will have 9 different options for conference and wedding planners. As an industrial town, Bhilwara is the centre of textile mills, explosive factories, quartz stone mining, etc., and all these industries depend on hotels in other cities like Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, etc. for their business requirements.
“The Aaureum Resort will bring a huge change in the way businesses look at Bhilwara,” he said. While the resort will be able to retain the hospitality business which used to go out of the city so far, Maitraya said that it will also be able to attract a lot of new conferences and weddings into the city as well.
On the F&B front, the resort hotel will have 6 different options. Considering the cultural sentiments of the people of the Mewar region, Maitraya said that the resort will be totally vegetarian. But there will be a bar in the hotel. Crimson Hotels operates a 2-star hotel in the city already, and has a robust pipeline of upper upscale hotels under the Citron brand in Rajasthan and north India. A 64-room Citron is scheduled in Bhilwara itself by end of this year, followed by a 155-room Citron resort in Pushkar in 2026. The management company has signed two Citron brands in Dehradun, Maitraya said. The company has two Econostay branded hotels already operational in Bhutan - at Paro and Thimphu.
