Krisumi Corporation, is a pioneering Indo-Japanese real estate joint venture between Japan's century-old Sumitomo Corporation and India's Krishna Group, has appointed Dr Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi as President – Sales & Marketing, marking a significant addition to its senior leadership team.
The appointment comes at a time when Krisumi is expanding its residential portfolio and consolidating its presence in key urban markets. With over three decades of experience across residential, commercial and retail real estate, Dr Raghuvanshi brings extensive operational and strategic expertise to the role.
At Krisumi Corporation, Dr. Raghuvanshi is expected to lead sales and marketing strategy, customer services, post-sale, business promotion and align with the company’s long-term development vision. Her appointment underlines Krisumi’s focus on experienced leadership as it navigates the next phase of growth in India’s evolving real estate market.
A doctorate holder in real estate marketing and an MRICS professional, Dr Raghuvanshi has spent more than 34 years in senior leadership positions across some of India’s most prominent real estate organisations. Her career spans sales, marketing, customer services, leasing, international business development and strategic planning, with exposure to multiple asset classes and geographies.
Prior to joining Krisumi, she held leadership roles at DLF, Emaar MGF, Damac LLC and Experion Developers. As Executive Director at DLF, she was part of large-scale residential and commercial operations across major cities. She later served as Chief Executive at Emaar MGF, overseeing sales and marketing during a period of rapid expansion and market volatility.
Her international exposure includes her tenure as Country Head – India and Senior Director, International Business Development at Damac LLC, where she led cross-border business initiatives and global investor engagement. At Experion Developers, she served as Senior Executive Director – Sales & Marketing, managing multi-city portfolios and large-format residential developments.
Over the course of her career, Dr Raghuvanshi has been associated with the launch of over 100 real estate products across segments, and has managed sales, leasing and marketing operations across 22 Indian cities. Industry peers describe her as a change leader who has navigated regulatory shifts, demand slowdowns and evolving consumer expectations in a highly cyclical and competitive sector.
Beyond her corporate roles, Dr Raghuvanshi has played an active part in industry advocacy and policy-linked initiatives. She is the Founder and Chairperson of NAREDCO Mahi, the women’s wing of the National Real Estate Development Council, operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The platform focuses on increasing women’s participation, leadership and entrepreneurship in real estate and allied sectors.
She also serves as an Additional Independent Director on the boards of Suraj Estate Developers Pvt Ltd and Share India Securities Ltd, and is Chairperson of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Her board roles reflect the growing emphasis on governance, compliance and independent oversight within real estate and financial services companies.
In addition, Dr Raghuvanshi is a Regional Mentor of Change with the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, where she holds a Gold Badge and has been recognised as a GEM of Mentor India 2024. She has been ranked among the top ten mentors in the country from January 2023 onwards, mentoring startups and early-stage entrepreneurs across sectors.
Her contributions extend to academia and public discourse. She is a TEDx speaker, has authored over 30 publications, and has received more than 50 industry awards and recognitions. She is also the Managing Trustee of Ananta Achievers Trust, a non-profit organisation working in the areas of education and social development.
