Gallagher, one of the world’s largest insurance broking, risk management and consulting firms, has today opened the doors to a new workspace in Mumbai, cementing the global firm’s commitment to investing in local talent and communities.
The new office will house some of Gallagher’s 7,500-plus strong India workforce, many of whom work in Gallagher’s Centres of Excellence and Service Centres. Spread across five locations across the country, these teams are integral in helping Gallagher meet client needs globally and provide innovative solutions that support all aspects of the Gallagher business including IT, finance, claims, analytics, market research and underwriting.
The new Mumbai workspace will house 700 staff. Gallagher is actively recruiting for additional roles in areas such as analytics, account management, servicing, and project management, with the office to eventually house over 1,000 staff.
