HSIIDC directs DLF to complete Manesar project affected by land scam
Haryana State Industry and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has directed DLF to complete construction at DLF Express Greens, located on a portion of the land affected by the Manesar land scam. In its letter, HSIIDC’s finance department has said projects being developed by DLF in Manesar are nearing completion, hence the developer could complete the remaining work, without HSIIDC having to bear any cost. “Once the flats are ready, they may be handed over to the HSIIDC Manesar estate manager, following which they will be handed over to buyers after verification,” said a letter accessed by TOI. It further states HSIIDC would retain the right to collect balance payments/dues, if any, from respective allottees. Sources in HSIIDC added DLF buyers needed to be intimated their homes are being readied. Yet, only some buyers said they were aware of the development. “We’ve submitted our claim and are hopeful of getting to know the fate of our flats soon. However, there hasn’t been any official confirmation yet,” said Devendra Kaushik, a homebuyer.
