IIFL home finance continues its endeavor being the change agent towards encouraging Green Affordable Housing. As our mission is to extend “Housing for All” towards “Green Housing for All”. With a mission to stimulate awareness and need towards affordable housing and sustainable living in India, IIFL Home Finance Ltd. organized ‘KUTUMB - Chapter III’ in Pune, Maharashtra. The theme for ‘KUTUMB’ this time was ‘Monetizing Green Affordable Housing’ and promoting ‘Green Building for Sustainable Living’. With the grand successes of Chapter-I & II in Ahmedabad and Indore respectively, IIFL HFL has earned the distinction as a pioneer in generating awareness about green affordable housing and sustainable living in the country. The company has managed to educate and enable more than 100+ developers about the benefits associated with developing green homes in the affordable housing segment in India. Renowned speakers in their areas of expertise came together at Sheraton Grand, Pune where Chapter-III of the mega event took place with a focus on the need, efforts, and initiatives to promote sustainable and energy efficient real estate development in the country. Speaking at the occasion, Mr.MonuRatra, CEO, IIFL Home Finance Ltd. said “We have taken upon ourselves this task of promoting Green Affordable housing which is nonexistent by not only being financial but knowledge partner as well. Post this chapter-III, we would be doing another 4 such events covering south India as well. We continue to be an active participant for 'Housing for All' as well through CLSS. We are further encouraged to see the keen interest shown by institutions like ADB, GIZ, Climate Initiatives along with IFC, CDC, NHB & Ashok B Lall who has been our technical mentor. We would be taking this further by having Kutumb Green partners who would walk the developers right from start to final execution” The event started with MonuRatra, CEO, IIFL HFL talking through the journey of KUTUMB.
