Morphogenesis proudly announces the accolade achieved by the International Tech Park Chennai, Radial Road (ITPC-Radial Road), developed for CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI). This milestone marks the first-ever certification of a business park in India as net-zero, validating its commitment to energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste management by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
The Net Zero Energy strategy adopted by Morphogenesis incorporates a comprehensive approach, leveraging both passive and active measures to curtail energy consumption while maximizing efficiency. Additionally, the project integrates various strategies to minimize water consumption and enhance reuse within its premises.
The project has also attained the WELL Building Standard® certification, an international authority that recognises projects for design that enhances the wellbeing and productivity of its occupants. By incorporating features that prioritize healthier indoor environments—such as meticulously regulating air and water quality and maximizing the use of natural daylight—the result is a sustainable, optimized, and eminently livable environment.
Situated along Chennai’s burgeoning IT corridor, the project has initiated Phase-1 operations. Upon its completion, the 5 million square feet (sq ft) business park will encompass four Grade A office blocks, capable of accommodating over 50,000 IT service professionals.
