Manju Yagnik wins Woman Super Achiever Award for the year 2018-19
Manju Yagnik, Vice Chairperson of Nahar Group has recently been recognized for her unparalleled contribution and achievements with an award by 5th World Women congress leadership awards termed as Women Super Achiever in Real Estate & Construction industry. The award ceremony took place at Taj Land’s End, Mumbai on the 17th February 2018 where stalwarts and women leaders from across the globe were present. The award ceremony was held to celebrate the highest level of achievement by women across various fields and around the globe, encouraging the private and public sectors to promote women leaders. The ceremony intended to draw the attention of senior leaders of various institutions towards the role of women play in the development of society. After completing her graduation from Kurukshetra University, Yagnik decided to use her skills in a profession that was challenging but yet matched her passion. She entered the real estate industry during a time when the sector was not well organized. Yagnik joined the Nahar Group and has been the guiding force for over three decades now. Be it creating unique land spaces, coming up with unique initiatives for consumers, understanding consumer behavior, being a decision maker and managing people she has been a part of every big and small activity at Nahar Group. On wining the prestigious award, Vice Chairperson, Nahar Group, Manju Yagnik elates that, “The Indian real estate industry was once largely male-dominated, but today many large developer groups, real estate-focused lending institutions and private equity firms now have women in senior roles. Today, women in leadership roles bring an extra measure of multi-tasking, empathy, acumen, assertiveness and determination to succeed in a real estate business.”
