PNB Housing Finance Appoints Amit Singh as Chief People Officer
PNB Housing Finance, today announced the appointment of Amit Singh as Chief People Officer. Amit brings in 18 years of experience in building performance led, competitive teams for the successful functioning in fast-growing organizations. As a key member of PNB Housing’s leadership team, Amit will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s growth and will be responsible for managing manpower strategy for the Company. He will lead the HR function, which includes learning & development, talent acquisition and developing people-centric organizational development priorities including, talent management & development, coaching, capability building, performance & reward strategy, HR digital strategy and sustaining an inclusive work culture for business growth. “I am delighted that Amit has come on board when our company is successfully focusing on business transformation agenda and I am confident that his capabilities will add tremendous value to meet this agenda. At PNB Housing Finance, we are deeply cognizant of the fact that the ongoing pandemic demands a thoroughly professional and empathetic human resource management. He is known for his extensive experience in leading HR transformation journeys and creating value for Business enterprises. Prior to SBI Mutual Fund, Amit was Director & Business HR Head at IDFC Bank and served stints at leading companies such as TCS and Blue Star InfoTech. Amit earned a Master’s in Business Administration from ICFAI Business School. Amit Singh, Chief People Officer, PNB Housing Finance said, “I am excited to be embarking on this journey at PNB Housing Finance. I have admired the Company’s rich legacy, core ethics, work commitments, people-centric approach and sustained reputation as one of India’s best-known corporate citizens. I am looking forward to achieving all the defined objectives of the company with regard to its human resource practices. My goal is to add suitable value to the company’s core operations within this department”. To strengthen its core team under the Company’s business transformation project - IGNITE, PNB Housing Finance has firmed up its management team, continues to accelerate its digital integration and strengthen its business positioning.
